The immediately inspiring picture. The sleeves and partlet match the forepart. partlet goes over the dress and is not sheer.

Me! This pic was snapped at Winter Wolf (the College of Blaiddwyn's collegium) in late January. The black thing over my right shoulder is the bottom of the veil for the hood - it's too long and too heavy and catches on the velvet. The item on the red string is actually the site token. I still haven't made the over-partlet. The undersleeves are bunching up - they're too long, now too narrow, and not made of heavy enough material. I don't know how I will ever resolve this - I don't have enough fabric left to make new ones.
