Welcome and well met! It makes me glad to know that you are interested in Waterbearing at least enough to come look at this website. Waterbearing is something that is very needed in these dry lands, and you can make a big difference at the same time as you are having fun and meeting all sorts of new folks.

Regarding the Handbook, and particularly the draft of the Fifth Edition: Some of you, reading this for (perhaps) the first time, may find that, according to the Handbook, you are remiss in certain listed duties. Please have no fear that you are about to be in trouble. Some of these duties don't currently make sense; some aren't well known (one person said to me 'I didn't know I needed to be reporting!'). It's OK. This is part of why we are revising the Handbook. By all means, start reporting - but don't worry if you forget.
